RK NET's VIRTUAL SERVER operating system divides a single computer into multiple, "virtual" machines. Each virtual machine has its own unique domain name (ie: "yourcompany.com").

Although each virtual machine runs on a part of our WWW server, to you and your clients, it's just as if you were operating your own private Web server under your own Internet domain.

VIRTUAL SERVERS start for as little as $29 per month with full telephone technical support and 30 Mega Bytes of disk space for web pages and FTP files. Our highly optimized business servers are the most popular servers on the Internet. Additional disk storage is $1 per Megabyte per month.

Microsoft's FrontPage98 is also supported on our special high speed UNIX servers.

Ultra High Performance Commerce Servers are also available for demanding commercial web sites. Prices start at $149 per month with 50 MB WWW and FTP space. Additional disk storage is $2 per Megabyte per month. One-time set up fees are $100.

Our Network Operations Center is the world's largest web server facility. This center hosts over 65,000 commercial web sites. Many of the most sucessful business sites on the Internet are hosted here on over 100 high speed web servers. The Center is professionally staffed 24 hrs a day.

Each Virtual Server comes with one "catch-all" E-Mail account in your domain name. All E-Mail addressed to your domain name (ie: anyname@yourdomain.com) will be received by this account. This allows you an unlimited amount of email address under your domain name. You may check your E-Mail using any browser over the Web, or using a POP3 compliant email program (Eudora, Netscape Mail, etc.). We can also set up 'forwarding' to another E-Mail address at no extra charge.

We also offer individual Email accounts, each with its own address and password. This is a great way to give each of your key employees their own email account. Our uniqiue Web based user-interface allows you to administer your own email accounts right from your browser. You can easily set up forwarding, change your password, create auto-responders and list-servers, and allow employees to administer their own email accounts.

You can run your VIRTUAL SERVER with your existing Windows or Macintosh PC. You just need a few simple software tools and an Internet connection. Plus, each VIRTUAL SERVER comes with complete telephone, FAX, WWW, and E-Mail technical support. Unlike most presence providers, we won't just leave you to figure out everything on your own.

Yes! With a Virtual Server account you have full use of the Operating System and can run CGI connecting to: server-side includes, Perl, C, and C++. You can create your own CGI-BIN and run your own CGI programs. However, our servers do not support JAVA-based cgi.

You may compile scripts on your own or use scripts from our Scripts Library, but you may not actually compile programs on our machines. Sorry, but our machines are designed for web serving, not development.

Bandwidth allotment is 200 Mega Bytes, or 50,000 hits, per *day*. This is one of the largest allotments on the Internet. (6 Giga Bytes per month!) Very few sites at our Network Operations Center ever go over this. Please contact us for pricing of additional bandwidth for large commercial sites.

Access logs of complete site activity are provided at no additional charge.
